A beautiful hill station located in Palakkad district of Kerala. Attarapadi is one of the chief tribal settlement and a pristine hill station, located 38 km from Mannakkad, the place of amazing highland and hilly terrain which is fed by enormous tributaries of majestic river Cauvery.  Attarapadi is an exclusive mountain valley and a sizzling hill station located on the Ghats of rivulets of river Cauvery. Silent Valley National Park

It is one of the pristine and preserved valley in Kerala, untouched by modernization and man. The brooding dense forests which are located in Nilgiri hills are believed to be fifty millions years old. The park is proudly spreads around 236 sq km in this silent valley. Variety of forests ranging from semi green, evergreen to deciduous and the montane grass lands are contributing to diverse ecosystem of silent valley. It is declared as Nilgiri Biosphere reserve by government of Kerala. It houses numerous mammals, reptiles and birds.
