Kumbha Shyam Temple in Chittorgarh Rajasthan

Kumbha Shyam Temple is one of the quaint places to see in Chittaurgarh. The tourists often visit this temple that was established in the 8th century and later renovated in the 15th century by Maharana Kumbha after whom the temple is named. The temple is dedicated to the worship of Lord Vishnu.  Chittorgarh is located in the Southern part of Rajasthan on the banks of the Gambhir River. This ancient city of regal Rajputs is replete with dilapidated forts, palaces, and alluring temples. Its major feat is the gigantic ‘Chittor Fort’ considered as an apple of the tourist eye. Rajput warriors constructed these temples who were the followers of Hinduism and patronized it in all forms.

Laxminath Temple Bikaner in Rajasthan

Bikaner is known world wide for its beautiful temples and the Laxmi Nath Temple is one of the oldest Temple in Bikaner. It was at the very location of the Laxmi Nath Temple that the foundation of the Bikaner city was laid by Rao Bikaji. The foundation of the Laxmi Nath Temple was laid by Rao Lunkaran and it was further expanded under the instructions of Maharaja Ganga Singh. The Laxmi Nath Temple is one of the most beautiful of the Bikaner temples and displays the fantastic artwork of the traditional artisans and sculptors. The Laxmi Nath Temple houses the divine statues of Lord Vishnu and his wife Laxmi. Thousands of people from all over Rajasthan come to this temple to worship at this pious temple of Bikaner. Besides its devotional value, the Laxmi Nath Temple is also important historically and is visited by the tourists to witness the grandeur of India.

The Jain Temple in Ranakpur, Rajasthan

Ranakpur is located in the mountain ranges of Pali district, Rajasthan  23 kms away from the Phalna railway station. Ranakpur is situated between lush green valleys and beautiful streams and the heart capturing views. It is home to a very beautiful temple complex in the Aravali ranges. The place is well connected through a road network to other places in the region. Ranakpur in Rajasthan, India  has one of the biggest and most important Jain temple complexes of India, covering an area nearly 4500 square yards, and having 29 halls. Located about 200 km from Jodhpur, Ranakpur is one of the five most important pilgrimage sites of Jainism. Chaumukha temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath, the first ‘Tirthankara.
